Okay, this post includes more than one tip but I like to think of it as a CORNUCOPIA of tips just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, it’s very important to remember to take care of ourselves before we begin to cook our family their favorite dishes, run to the store for that last minute item and plan for all of those Black Friday sales.

Here are a few BEAUTY TIPS using the usual Thanksgiving food staples:

Cranberries – Drink plenty of cranberry juice and fill up on cranberry sauce because you’ll get your fair share of antioxidants and vitamin C which gives you a youthful look. You can also make a toner out of cranberries by cooking and straining a 1/2 cup and using on the skin after cleansing.  Apply CRANBERRY toner with a cotton ball as usual.

Pumpkin – Puree or mash your leftover pumpkin and make a mask. Add honey and soymilk and mix well. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse and remove with warm water. The vitamins and minerals found in pumpkins will give your skin an unbelievable glow.

Sweet Potatoes – Place a slice of sweet potatoes over your eyes just as you would cucumber slices to smooth out fine lines. The vitamin A and antioxidants that’s found in a sweet potato will make you feel & look just a little bit younger & sweeter.
