.:BEAUTY TIP TUESDAY:. 7 Tips To Always Look Picture Perfect

Whenever you leave the house, it’s wise to look your best. I have gone out of the house plenty of times thinking that I’d make a quick run to the post office or to the Dollar Store and that’s the very time that I’d run into someone! Don’t you hate when that happens?

So I have come up with 7 tips to help you to stay picture perfect at all times!

1. Invest In Some Stylish Hats – A hat can cover up a bad hair day like a charm. Whether it’s a floppy hat, a toboggan or a fedora, you can maintain your glamorous style no matter what.

2. Lip Service – If you don’t have time to put on a full face of makeup you can take your look from drab to fab in an instant with a lipstick that compliments your skin tone or with a nice lip gloss with a perfect tint.

3. Nail Power – Please, please, please keep your nails clipped and even. If you must wear color on your nails, ensure that it is not peeling or rubbing off. If push comes to shove, invest in a pair of stick on nails and keep it moving in the name of Glamour!

4. Basic Hygiene – I don’t want to sound like your mom but if I must remind you, please wash your face and brush your teeth before you head out. You never know where the morning will take you and having morning breath will definitely not make you want to talk to anyone or pose for a picture for that matter. Keep a travel size toothpaste tube, toothbrush, mouthwash, peppermints, gum, etc., in your car just in case.

5. Good Foundation – Back in the day, your mother and grandmother may have referred to their undergarments and what we call Spanx as foundations. Whatever you like to call it, make sure that you have your undergarments on and working for your properly. Lots of women are wearing the wrong bra size or don’t have on the right support to make their clothes fit them properly. Take some time to go by a lingerie store or to lingerie section of a major department store to get properly fitted for a bra, girdle, etc. No one likes to look back at a picture and wonder why you had the “guts” to pose for the camera.

6. Hair Raising – Shave. Under your arms. Your legs. Your brows. Your upper lip. Your chin. etc. I’ve worked in a spa so I know all the areas that should be properly shaved, do you? I think you do. Make sure that you don’t have hairs peeking out in all the wrong places during your next photo op!

7. Confidence – You know I had to add something that has to do with your INNER BEAUTY. No matter what size or shape that you are, there is truly something beautiful about you. Spend time in the mirror. Admire your beauty and accentuate your best attributes. Build up your confidence so that you are PICTURE PERFECT at every given opportunity. A confident SMILE & a confident GLOW will take you very far.

Now the next time that I see you and it’s time to take a photo, I don’t want to see you running in the other direction. Work on these 7 tips and get ready to show the world your TRUE GLAMOUR!

Stay Glamorous!
